WorkLife Partnership is excited to announce that we received a $1.1 million investment from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation earlier this fall. This funding will spark a major leap forward in the way that we meet the needs of businesses and their workers. In the past year alone, WorkLife has seen a rapidly growing interest in our Resource Navigation Services, as more employers are investing in benefits that support the health and wellbeing of the whole worker.

As a social enterprise, our goal is to create positive social impact while operating with the financial sustainability and the technical innovation of a successful business. In doing this work, we will partner closely with employers to understand how we can better support their employees and their businesses.

Over the next 18 months, we will use this funding to:

  • Reach more remote and dispersed workforces and rapidly dispatch our Resource Navigation Services to new regions
  • Leverage technology to deliver our services remotely while maintaining what we know works—human-to-human support that builds trust and confidence
  • Improve how we evaluate our impact so we can deliver the services that do the most good for both workers and employers
  • Optimize our operational efficiency to create economy of scale

We are driven to see how far we can go in 2020, and we are deeply grateful to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for their confidence in our work
